Cam only just means that you have an aftermarket cam in your car but stock heads, no nitrous, no supercharger, stock shortblock,(unless otherwise stated) and no turbo. Cam only is used when you have typical boltons and a cam but nothing more.

http://www.lt1howto.com/. Great site.

And the best cam for stock heads, all though it will be preference, is probably the CC503.

ignition box and fpr are pointless in my opinion
i wouldn't do an electric water pump on a daily driver car (even though i did have one on mine)

and you forgot tune, lt4 knock module, shifter or shift kit (depending if the original poster has an automatic or manual), stall (if it's an auto), and aluminum driveshaft

and i dont think you will need a cam to hit your hp goal... if you get everything mentioned above, you should be just about there.

Does anyone have a link to the article in GMHTP when they installed a Crane Hi-6 on a light bolt-on '97 Z28 and picked up 7rwhp/8rwtq? If so i'd appreciate it. For a couple hundred bucks I don't see how an ignition box would hurt. I've always liked them for the improved idle and throttle response myself.

I didn't know people considered a tune and shift-kit bolt-ons LOL. Learn something new everyday.

if you want a cam, the cc 503 or the cam i have will make you overshoot your goal by at least 25 rwhp. the lt4 hotcam shout put you right at your goal, if not a little over

DO NOT TOUCH THE MAF EVER. it will handle all the power you can throw at it. the most you should ever do to it is clean it. NO porting/polishing/descreening
