now my cam?
am i going to be a jackass with a cc306 and stock heads? im going to put rr and springs but dont have the money for heads yet but i just want to throw the cam in with that stuff. i have some bigger valves that i can put on my heads, but without any head porting will that make a dif? i will do head work one day but i just dont want to have to put in a smaller cam then go bigger. how will it run with that big a cam and stock heads? sorry for all the ?????

I think, since you are doing the heads later, then why do a cam swap twice?
Install the CC306 and use it until you get your heads done. Sure, you won't be able to use it to its full potential, but you will eventually.
Otherwise, you will need to get new timing set gaskets, and have to remove the opti, crank pulley, water pump, timing chain, pull the cam out. And if you don't do the work on your car, labour charge.
