Default dipstick wont go back in help

just did rebuild on motor its been fully assembled and i had to get a new dipstick how do u get it to go with motor fully assembled? do i need to pull anything off?

What part won't go in? The dipstick tube or the actual dip stick? there is like a lip a couple inches up on the tube does it go it that far?

use a soft grit of sand paper to get the paint off but leave about 1in on the tube before the bump so it can get a good seal... or yea use a little lub as well something that can break down in oil.. thats what i did and it worked great

I used motor oil for lube on the dipstick tube it worked out pretty well, the upper part may need bent to clear headers (if you have them) or something else. Just make sure not to bent the bottom part.
