Thumbs up Finally! Im starting my build !

I have wanted to build something since ive owned the car, but said i wouldn't until I blew it up. Well i didn't blow it up but my oil pressure has got me worried so what the hell its time!

Thanks to Zane, My block is in the shop getting boiled, bored and honed. Its going to be a 355 build with stock crank turned and balanced, stock rods and
Speed Pro, Power Forged Pistons all balanced with the crank.

Cam is the largest i can go and still pass emissions if your wondering ( I like to keep it legal) 223/230 .565/.565 112 LSA. - 1700-6100 RPM And here
Stock ported heads from Elliot Port Works LE2 Package

Manley 2.00/1.56 6000 series valves
PAC 1218 bee hive springs (145 lbs seat and 340 lbs open)
Steel retainers and locks
205 cc intake port
milling, cleaning and assembly
flow about 275/190 CFM

Im pretty sure im going with the CSR electric waterpump and CC gold series 1.6 rr's, Intake will be ported to match the heads and for a 58mm TB.

I still am in the process of picking out the right stall, I already have LT headers installed and poly mounts and 3:73's sitting in the garage along with MSD OTVC 8.5 wires. I pretty much have all suspension parts on the car except for SFC's which i will get after the install.

Im sure i will be adding more stuff in the near future, block is pretty much set in stone all i need to order is my pistons which i will do by the end of the week. Ill keep everyone posted on the progress and post up pics as the parts come in and i pick up the block ! !!!!!!! !!!

Not too hard to pass here if you know what you're doing. As long as it passes the sniffer they won't say anything about anything else.

Hey DJ do you already have the cam? I've got that exact same cam I'm about to put up for sale. Brand new in the box, just decided I need the money more than I need a cam right now. PM me if interested. Other than that it seems like you have the right idea as far as your build goes. Should make some good power and be a blast to drive.

Don't be afraid to put a decent size stall in it, something like a Yank SS4000.
