Default porting high mileage heads

if you have over 100k miles on your heads, can you port them and them last another 100k or more miles?

are the chances slim?
is it just not worth the risk?
no problem as long as it passes the hardness test and inspection?

AI has TFS ported heads brand new for $2500
or AI can port my old high milage heads for $2000

Heads are not a wear component. As long as they pass inspection, I wouldn't hesitate to use a head with 500k miles on it. Don't worry about it.

might need guides or guide liners, but anything on them can be easily repaired.

the only way to hurt our heads is if you get them extremely hot, but even then you can usually have them milled
