Whats the deal...so one day im driving home from work and my check GAUGES light comes on....the next morning my car wouldnt start. Seemed like the battery was dead because lights were very dim, so i gave it a jump and it started, but after 30 seconds the engine just stopped..when i went to turn the key, the battery was completely dead..NO CRANK NO nothing ..it only stays running for 30 seconds when i give it a jump..other than that, car wont do anything else...what could this be

Anyone else? So i took the battery to auto zone to see if it was still good. They charged it up and said it was good. So i took the battery home and the car started...but it died again...anyone have an idea of what might be causing this. When the car started, the headlights and gauge cluster were extremely dim...and now it wont even crank..help!!!

+1 on the alternator, ensure the wires are fully connected to it as well.
