Default plug wire organization

how do you guys keep your oversized plug wires in order? i just put new taylors on.... i bought them about a year ago and i just found out they arent the best wires... anyways the coil wire wont work...so scrap it...

how do you guys keep the wires together or nice and neat. instead of sticking out away from the engine like 6 inches getting in the way and tucked up close to the block?

Larger wire organizers and lots of zip ties.
Or the best thing to do is get an OTVC wire kit.

No no no no no! Don't use an OTVC kit with stock manifolds! The design of the manifolds will make the install look extremely gawdy using long wires and odd routing. Not to mention burning the wires will be very easy.

IMO, a bad idea. Only go with an OTVC setup if you have headers.

Personally though, I switched from OTVC to conventional routing and am much happier.

Right...OTVC are not for use with stock manifolds. They would lay right on the manifolds and burn up.

EXACTLY! There is really no point in OTVC wires. It is not hard to keep the stock ones out of the way if you try. Plus it looks way cleaner IMO

You might be better off buying a new harness and save yourself time shifting through the nightmare. Some people just have no clue when it comes to wiring.
LS platform is nice. You'll notice right away how much easier it is to work on. And you'll love how leak free an LS1 can be.

I just can't get over how bad the front end of a 98-02 looks.
Plus LT1s just sound beefier and more manly. +2342352134562314623 on being easier to work on though!

You'd probably have to PM that Speed Inc guy. I don't do much for appearance under the hood. Just performance and convenience.

If anyone is interested in appearance under the hood, contact 01SOMSS! He knows his stuff on that. Hope you like chrome if you talk to him, but very few people's cars are as clean and pretty as his.
