Default Car is surging at idle

Okay this car has been haunting me for weeks now and I dont know what it wants.

Symptoms:

After a cold start it runs fine I wait till it comes to temperature drive it around do 5 to 10 0 to 70 runs and it runs tip top then I bring it home and shut it off. Two hours or so later I start it up and it idles fine for about 10 seconds then it starts revving from 500 to 2000 or 3000 and back down.

New Parts:
Optispark, IAC, TPS, coil, ICM, plugs and wires, pcv tube, pcv grommet, evap vacuum line, o2 sensors.

I dont see or hear anywhere else there would be a vacuum leak and the fuel pressure is right where it should be. I tried it with and without the MAF plugged in.

Please advise before I just put it in a field and shoot at it.

I'm gonna convert to an oxen driven setup and see if it still surges.

I dont think i have any spare oxen from the 93. I'd say lets try and get a datalog, I have a Moates cable for my 93, not sure if it'll work on your 94, may want to look in to that. But if it will, down load a free copy of TTS data masters and we can data log it when I get home mid next week. Atleast then you'll be able to see LT1 life in the eyes of the PCM and you wont be throwing cash at it like a stripper.

mine does the same exact thing
i had mine tuned up sat and it drove fine, then as soon as it heated up to 180 it would surge at idle from 500 to 1000
i figured it would be a vacuum line, because i hear my cai sucking for air

just my 2 cents

It was just loose from the headers not finger loose or anything I just tightened it till it could not be tightened anymore and the problem went away.
