Default Massive Power Loss?

Went to the track friday night after fixing my oil leaks and an ignition problem. to say the results sucked would be an understatement. my previous best in worse air(94F/98%humidity) was 11.96 at 121.25 mph and the other night i was barely breaking 12s! i think my best run was 12.8x at 110. the car "felt" like it was running good. was bogging at the launch a bit but not real bad. the only changes other than fixing the oil leak and ignition miss was adding a resonator in my i pipe. it was bought used and the guy said it had been used when his cat broke up. i blew out what i could and didnt hear any rattle in the pipe but is it possible that it could be restricted in the bend before the axle and causing the almost 100hp loss? anyway to check without pulling it apart?

Anything is possible i guess. I would think you would notice this much of a loss in power just by the seat of the pants feel.

Can you take it off and try again?
