*Newbie here* Just bout a 97 z28 a few weeks ago. Driving down the road and lost the serpentine belt. After inspection found the power steering pulley just flat came off and was wedged in engine compartment. Got a pulley kit reinstalled it, tightned down just fine, put belt on fired engine idled for no more than 5 minutes when the pulley came off again. dont really know much about the subject is it a bad pulley? which i just came to find out gm discontinued the part. any suggestions on what the problem is and if it is a pulley where to find one?

I'd almost bet that the Power steering shaft that the pulley presses on is worn out and wont hold the pulley on anymore. That means new power steering pump!
