Well I am trying to get my old T/A back to the track and with the fuel pressure at 55psi, putting 100 the max in the fuel cells for that rpm range, I am still running out of fuel at 6300rpms,(14.1 afr on dyno) so my 36# are not large enough for the added cubic inches of the new 383 i am just built. I am tuning with tunercats and changed the injector flow rate to 42 and installed the new lucas 42 #'s so is there anyting else I need to change in the tuning?

I would imagine outside of changing the injector constant tables you'd have to rescale the fuel trim tables but idk I'm no tuner.

are you running a wet or dry kit?

Glad to see your getting back on the track. What psi are the Lucas 42's rated at? If they are rated at 43.5 psi and you have the fuel pressure at 55 you need to raise the injector constant higher than 42. Maybe around 46 or so.

I am pretty sure that I will have to adjust the fuel trims but I was just making sure there wasn't anything else to change to get started tuning.

Thanks Tony it's great to have the car up and running again but I will turn the fuel pressure down a little since I installed these larger injectors. I won't need that much pressure but I plan on running it in the 48-50psi range so what size injector constant should I put in to get started 44? Also does anybody know how to elimnate the knock sensor completely from the pcm so it can't pull any timing? I had a resistor in the wire from a few yrs back but I would like to do something else.
