Can't decide what to do...
So I was planning on selling the car but have decided against it. I've put too much time and effort into making it as nice as it is. So, I have enough money to do one of two things.
1. Get a set of kooks lt's, x pipe, powersticks, and sell the gmmg.
or
2. Get a Trufiber LT1 SS hood, and 98+ SS spoiler.
Now neither of them I need, but I already have a new front and rear bumper for my car that needs to be installed and am already planning to paint it sometime before christmas. What would you guys do? I can't make up my mind !

Why not get some Kooks and keep the GMMG?
Screw all that appearance crap. Personally, I think it would look worse.

Well, either way when its all said and done its getting all of it. Just a matter of which comes first. As far as keeping the gmmg. Well, for the $ for a kooks y pipe, I can get a x pipe kit, powersticks, and have it all welded up for less than the y pipe. That and the rasp from a y pipe kills my ears.

Based on what little I've heard of my car, I would say it's rasp free. The Kooks stuff mated up perfectly with my GMMG.
I think you should reconsider the hood and spoiler. That's going to eff up a nice looking car, in my opinion.

I've definitely been dumping go into my ride before appearance mods. At some point you will want to take care of the looks, but set a performance goal first (12 second pass for instance or 350rwhp). Once you hit that goal then enjoy the speed parts while you save for the appearance mods.

Getting rid of the GMMG would IMO be the worst move you could make. LT's + GMMG is unbelievable in real life. I have TD's now and they are sick but the only reason I don't have GMMG on it is because I sold my old car with it. Get some LT's and an ORY. If it's too "raspy" for you then add some cats. I didn't think it was raspy with LT's and ORY but everybody is different.

I had the GMMG and sold it to get True Duals with powersticks. I have to say for a street car the GMMG sound is unbeatable. I got more compliments on my exhaust than everything else on my car combined. With headers and an ORY it sounded unstoppable. If all you want it performance and it to sound like a drag car, do the duals with powersticks. The only comments I get on my exhaust now is "Holy crap that's loud". I have some of the GMMG sound, but mostly it sounds like a drag car, especially with a good size cam. Although the CC306 and the GMMG sounded mean as hell.
