just got Crane Valve Spring . need help
I played cheap and got me Crane Valve Spring and Retainer Kits #11309-1 from summit. it read somewhere that they are design to work with the iron heads of the b-bodies instead of aluminum.
if that is true I made a big mistake as I always do. everytime I want to buy something. I get it wrong the first time. help please

I suggest researching some better spring options before buying. I've broken several of the Crane springs with cams lifting only in the low .5xx's.
I've had far better results with the cheap LT4 hotcam springs from GM for about $50 a set, but those would be for mild cams only.
For more aggressive cams, consider some electro-polished springs from here:http://www.competitionproducts.com/d...ts.asp?dept=49
You'll never break them.
