Default Ticking noise exhuast leak or worse?

Just recently reinstalled oem exhuast manifold after LTs. On the passenger's side bank, there is a ticking noise. only, I cant tell if it could be a lifter or something or it its just an exhuast leak. I didn't really have time to do it so I payed a shop to reinstall the crap back on. Now I noticed the noise. It seems to go away when the car gets warm and when you give it some throttle.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me. Hold a section of hose up to your ear and use it like a stethoscope.

Yeah, that's an exaust leak, I've got one too so I know! Why did you de-mod it though?

This was my first f-body and i love it, but I sold it to my lil bro. used the money to buy me an ls1. Transaction is still taking place but its a Silver 2000 T/A, 241 ported heads, a smog cam, full suspension, ls6 intake, mid headers, and LM (not sure if its I or II) exhuast.

Ahh, nice buy, and good to keep the LT1 in the family too.

I love my LT1 thats y I didn't want to sell it to just anyone. I can still take care of it this way.

And I could buy it back if I ever chose to do so...

Put an automotive stethoscope or a section of garden hose to your ear,
use the other end to isolate the location of the ticking sound.

Well if it's worse than an exhaust leak it will only take a short time before the tick turns into a really loud knock. In 15 mins my tick turned into a knock. It was a rod.
