OMG spill some details on how the impossible was done.
Did you mill down the radiator support or alter the hood?

i did the lid install the same way everyone else has done it, then just modified the LS1 radiator support to fit it. I had to trim a LOT of plastic off it. There is probably only 50% of it left lol. My idea was to just set the lid down inside the shroud instead of on top of it and this is what i got. the support is set back a few inches from where it would normally be, i used self tapping screws to secure it. Its VERY solid, i couldnt be happier with it.

I have more pictures i can post if people want, but im headed out the door right now.

I predict this thread will explode with hits.
Can you take some additional pics of it with the lid off.

I will take it back apart and get some detailed pictures tomorrow.

Im gonna say right now though it was a lot of work, but alot of it was trial and error. I spent way more time on the radiator support than i did fabricating the lid.

Since there is not any front air inlet like on a normal LS1; I assume it is pretty much open on the underside to let air in?
