Default Spark Plug Length?

I just recieved a set of stock AC .R45LTS6's and they actually look shorter than a compatible one. It only has 7/8th's of porcelain. What is the standard length of a spark plug? This may be the reason I am burning plug wires? I think the AC's I have in now are longer!

Hey man I like my wing better than the one on that new green camaro! Opti is not that old. It's holding up! Mine does not suck moisture into it like yours! I got over tens years on my last one!

I got it from JEGS! It's not RICE. Actually I noticed the tips on my new ones are slightly sanded on the tip, just to get the paint off. I don't want to change the shape, good idea though, I also thought of removing the threaded tip on the problem one. But I think these are shorter? I'll double check tomarrow.

well i would sand it down to change the shape and make it shorter. Making it shorter will make the spark more powerful since the electricity has less stuff to go through. so start sanding away!!!

if you make it into a point on the end the electric current will build up and then create and bigger spark for more power. you can sand it down about 1/2inch safely

and yeah it is rice. Its a shopping cart wing
