95 lt1 brake light on dash lit?
i slammed on my brakes today in my 95 t/a and the brake light came on and will not go off its like the one that comes up when you engage the e-brake

Turn the key ON, then disconnect the parking brake switch (located in the center console). If the light goes out, then the switch is bad. Problem solved. But if the light DOESN'T go off...
With the key still ON, disconnect the EBCM (located under the driver side kick panel, connector C1).
If the light goes out, then you've got either A.) low brake fluid, B.) the parking brake switch is closed, or C.) there are ABS codes present, which will have to be scanned by the dealer to determine the underlying issue.
If the light stays on, check for a short to ground in the wiring (and if you have an M6, check the hatch release relay too - doesn't pertain to automatics).

I had a stuck caliper too. I rebuilt both the rear ones. It is simple and the kit is only like 12 bucks. Then blow out all your lines to make sure they aren't clogged but don't blow back into the master cylinder.
