I have a WS6 that has a ram air hood on it, that I have confirmed is a WS6 Trans Am. It has a fiberglass hood on it... Im getting conflicting information on whether this is OEM or not. Some are telling me that it should be steel?? I suppose the factory one could have been damaged and replaced with aftermarket....

Anyone know of anwhere that shows actual information on these so I can tell whether I have an OEM hood or not?

No LT1 cars ever had a stell ram air hood. All were fiberglass

Okay, im trying to sell it but keep getting members asking me if its an OEM Steel ws6 hood. That confused me.

well then there messing with ya. WS6 hoods were fiberglass. The stock NON ws6 hoods were steel.

They are RTM fiberglass hoods.

All WS6 hoods are fiberglass I know for a fact since I own one. Standard TAs, Formulas & firebirds got a steel hood.

Damn, I wish you would have had this hood 6 months ago. I would have drove out and got it, I'm only 20 minutes away.
