LT4 hotcam users, what springs?

LT4 hotcam users, what springs?
I am going to be installing the complete LT4 hotcam kit on my camaro very soon.
My question is what springs are best for this cam?
I know this is something I should search for first. So I did on multiple forums. I never got any definative answers, except to not to use the springs that come with the kit because they are for the LT4's sodium filled (lower mass) valves.
Obviously there are alot of people who do use the LT4 .525" springs with little to no problems, so they say. But I still do not feel comfortable using them. I want a spring that is rated to at least .550" lift and has the proper spring rate for this cam with LT1 valves.
I have read in a couple of places that this spring has worked for a few people. Any thoughts? Would this spring work with the retainers that come with the kit?

Thanks for reading, any advice on what spring to look into is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ben

I'm using Comp cams 941 They work fine for me with no modifacations to rockers or heads. You need to shim about .030 to get the install height. As long as you don't rev past 6500 you'll be fine.

and what were the MEASURED RESULTS with that after you got some mileage on it?
People make the mistake of listening to people with no measured result. I have met a LOT of people who thought their car was fast till they actually MEASURED. I have seen guys so crushed by the their failure they drive right out of the strip after one pass.
The HOT springs might work at first but a few thousand miles down the road and they will float.
People often sight the fact GM paired them with the HOT cam in the package, but besides the hollow valves in the LT4 let us consider just how "good" the stock springs are for the stock camthat blows the "GM would do it right" argument right out of the water. EVERYBODY recognizes a spring upgrade on a stock cam is a good thing.
Pretty much any aftermarket spring other than the LT4 that is targeted at the LT1 heads will do the job because the LT4 is really mild on the valvetrain. If you think you might go further later then I would consider just doing beehives the light 915s would do the trick now. I would replace the spring later if/when you upgrade again but this way you will only buy one set of locators and retainers. If you buy something barely "good enough" now it will cost more in the longrun. Aim for a little overkill and it will be cheaper in the longrun.

Is this by any chance the set your talking about? The crane 10308-1 spring kit?
