Default 1993 Camaro clunking noises when decelerate ?

Hello I have a '93 Camaro w. A4 and recently i'we noticed that everytime when i decelerate or just let go of the throttle at decent speed or maybe above 40 mp/h then there comes this clunking sound from the rear of the car. and if i just push very gently on the throttle it dissapears !!!
I'have poly. bushings in the control arms. and lincoln locker in the rear..

Could it be a bad sway bar bushings or driveshaft vibrations, which i think would be odd because this doesn't happen when i'm at full throttle 0-120 Mp/h ONLY happens when i let go of throttle and decelerate.

Best regards.

Well it's been like this all the time, and since i'we ran couple of passes at the strip with sticky tires, then i think if it's the gears in my little 10 bolt they should already been gone.

Yesterday i took the cover of because the welds in the carrier where broken, but the ring and pinion where as good as new.

What makes me think it's the sway bar is because this happens also everytime i go over bumps !!!

Also one concideration, could this be the torque arm, or bad bushings in the torque arm... ?

I think i'we found out the problem, I noticed a crack in the transmission tail, where the torque-arm mounts to the transmission, also i found out that i could wiggle the yoke in the transmission up and down, is this normal or is the yoke worn out also ??

Best regards.

Did you check the rear transmission mount (the big chunk of rubber near the tail piece)? If it is torn in half you know where the problem came from. The mount tears itself apart when it gets old, usually after a few trips to the drag strip.

I will try to upload pictures here, I'we got polyuritane transmission mount. also poly on the engine mounts and in LCA's but the torque arm is bone stock, with what seems to be old and tired stock bushing, would it be vise to put poly bushing in the stock arm or is it just a waste of money, should i go straight away to Chassis mount TA ?
