Best place to mount fuel pump??
Wheres the best place to mount the fuel pump for a rear stand alone fuel system? Trying to do this tonight. Can/Should I keep it in the trunk or mount it outside the car? Closer to the cell the better correct??
Thanks

Thanks guys.
I have a 3 gallon alum fuel cell that will be mounted in the trunk inline pump and aeromotive regulator, Think Im going to mount the pump where Tony has it, but would like to see the pics of it under the seat.
Also where you guys putting the regulator?

Looks good and I like the valve covers!!
I think Im going to mount the regulator to the frame rail where the ABS used to be. I think its the closest to the noids I can get and keep it clean, plus its a nice flat spot and should fit pretty good. Cant wait to get off work and go back to work on the car.

I also wanted it close the fuel cell. I ended up putting it on the DS between the trunk and frame rail. Yesterday I picked up 40ft of braided line and started plumbing it up. Who knew 40ft would not be enough anyways I have the fuel cell in the trunk then drilled a hole on the DS of the t-top well/trunk connected to the pump. Then it and return line follow the factory fuel lines. Im going to run the lines over the plastic wheel well liner to where a factory air box would be and mount the regulator right across from the fuse box. Should look pretty slick when its all done.

Its a 3gal stand alone in the trunk, that basically runs with the factory fuel lines from the stock tank forward, then over the drivers side fender liner and up into the engine bay then to the regulator I mounted right across from the fuse box. I was stunned also it took that much but also includes the return line
Also I have a a1000 regulator what do I do with the vacuum port?
