Did you adjust when the lifter was on the base of the cam. piston at top dead center on the compression stroke?

Just do the engine running method. loosen one rocker at a time untill it starts to click and then tighten until clicking is gone and then 1/4 turn past that ad you should be good to go.

Sounds like loose rockers to me. You need to get them all tightened down enough to not "clack" And then you will be able to start your adjustment.

The link wasn't working earlier but i finally was able to listen to it. Your rockers sound fine. The noise your describing at the .32mark sounds like the bottom end IMO.

so do i need to set them more than a 1/4 turn past zero lash ?.. i let the motor cool down to see if it made a difference and it did no clanking sound ...when i took the video it was up to temp and how can it be the bottom end the motor was fine before i took the intake and valve cover off and the motor has only about 700 miles on it
