Tbi lt1?

Tbi lt1?
So I found an engine from a parts yard that is supposed to be from a 1994 fleetwood. Those cars were supposed to have LT1 in em, the guy over the phone said the engine was TBI. I read the FAQ here and it mentioned TBI in the specs page. Were there TBI LT1's? If so, could I just swap the intake and whatnot to make it multiport? Would the multiport even affect the performance compared the the original TBI setup? Sorry for all the questions, any feedback would be a huge help.

Guy says it's stamped as a 5.7, also has a gear driven water pump. Could I take LT1 stuff and swap it onto this block to make it one? I have an LT1 but the cam is junk, as are the cylinders and seals. This block I'm looking at gets 190 in each cylinder still.

94-96 the MPI LT1 was the ONLY engine to go into the fleetwood. Nothing TBI, no 305 etc.. Like I said in my first post if it is TBI it is 93 or earlier
Maybe the yard guy is just a retard and does not know the difference between MPI and TBI.
With 190psi cranking I would expect it to be an LT1, don't believe any of the TBI motors were high enough compression to hit that number.

In my 10 years of Lt1 research on these sites I have never heard of a "TBI"
Lt1. We all know the lt1 has a "throttle body" and I think the "yard man" is confused. You need to go look at it... Then again maybe I'll learn something new.

So I ended up taking a quick look at the engine and it is a TBI engine. It has the same gear driven water pump as the LT1 so I was thinking about putting the intake, heads, optispark and whatnot on it. Is there anything that would make this block unsuitable? Seems like the same block to me.
