Default porting?

i need to know what gaskets you guys use and the part number for a lt4 and the exhaust gaskets. I remember there being some that were bigger than stock one any help would be very nice

Gasket matching is the WRONG way to go and LT4 intake gaskets would have you porting too high to maintain structural integrity at the top of an LT1 intake port.

i understand but since they are lt4 heads and intake i would like to have the right gaskets and i need them for the shape not to gasket match

Why not try an LT1 gasket(or a piece of heavy paper) and open it up to the LT4 head port? then you can see exactly what the intake to head difference is.

The LT4 stuff is awesome in bench racing land, once you look for actual results though that bench racing is less supported in RESULTS.

yeah but for 100 bucks for the set i dont tink anyone here would have passed up on the deal

I would flip them and put the coin towards doing it right.

I would agree. a stock set of heads gone over by AI or LE would yield fantastic results. if you can sell the lt4 intake and heads then youll have enough for a much better set of heads.
