Default Have two issues after sitting for a month!!

I did a rear end fluid flush with a new cover install. I started the car to take it for a drive so that I could test for leaks and now I have two new issues. The ASR switch that I have in my car won't turn the switch off on the dash (the switch usually lights up with a amber color on it, but it doesn't have that now). The "ASR OFF" light is lit all the time on my dash. When I go to flip my ASR switch off it doesn't do a dam thing. I already pulled the console control cover and checked and yes all the wires are attached, none are stipped or loose. Now my second issue has got me thinking, on my dash my "ABS INOP" light in lit and doesn't go away. Usually my brake pedal upon start up will move and the light will go away but the light doesn't go away at all. The car has sat for 1 month, I just did the work this afternoon and then I drove it to church and these issues were there (it was like a 1 mile drive). All advice and comments are needed, thanks in advance.

Devin

Did you make sure the plug on top of the diff has a good connection? IIRC this controls both functions.

Good connection? You mean like tight, I did however replace that top bolt with a grade 8 with a flange, maybe I should take that out and replace with one that doesn't have a flange??

I replaced the top bolt back to the old bolt and still have the same two issues.

Found the issue, it seems that when I put the cover back on again; I caught one of the wires in 2 different places. So I am taking the cover off right now and cleaning the gaskets both on the cover and on the DIFF. I'll make sure all wires are good then I redo this again. I need to find 2 butt connectors with additional wires, anyone know the gauge of the wires??
