Anyone have any idea ??
I had an 01 Mustang Bullitt quite a few mods... decide to trade it on craiglist, so anyways i came across this 97 Trans am and traded... its in the shop gettin transmition work done to it.. havent really got to drive it much. so i was just wondering if anyone had anything comparable to this that could tell me how it runs for a daily driver or for a drag car.. i was told this car pushes out just over 600 hp..
heres the list of mods..

ported by Kessler Engines in Bartlesville. They were
milled .030, and new valve guides/seats/etc. were
installed. A complete valve job was done.

lol @ "over 600hp" no way in hell NA, if its pushing 400hp you would be lucky, comparing blue book on a Bullitt vs what a modded LT1 fbod goes for on here I'd say someone got a screaming deal and it wasnt you

Dude!... We're all F-Body people so we'll always welcome a new person into the fold but I think someone "took you for a ride"!... 400ish HP is my best round about number! I wouldn't say 600!!! Also, as long as you had it in great shape, car for car, I would have held onto the Bullit!

trading a basicly stock mustang for a Trans am with motor work done and i got ripped? bluebook wise maybe i did... car for car i didnt... this motor has 5,000 miles... mustang had 120,000.. needed a new clutch and synchros in the tranny the trans am has vette rims and tired on it.. looks damn good to me... it was worth taking a little loss to have the t-tops and added power i think..... maybe i'm a fool... im sure it dont have 600 hp... just what the old man was sayin...

i honestly think you couldve easily gotten a ls1 car for you bullitt, and an unmolested one at that (with these cars and shady people, sometimes stock is better!)
I also think 420whp is over estimating it, ive been wrong befor, i hope i am.
it wasnt a dark red trans am was it? I learned my lesson, traded my 2000 gsxr 750 for the dark red 94 i have now. Some people have NO CLUE about working on a car. Mine almost burned down!
lesson in life #872 - stay away from dark red trans am's on craigslist

well at least you have a better car now.those 2v 4.6s dont go worth crap without boost.your new car will kick the crap out of your old one.
and I think lt1s are just as good as ls1s,and run as good too.
welcome to the lt1 world
