WTF was up with the LT1 firebird and t/a bumpers being so off color. i always thought mine was due to mileage and age but this car has 2k mi and it's just as bad as mine was before i repainted them and i talked to a guy with a formula vert who bought his car brand new and they were like this

Hey:
So would I.. the best Firehawk ever made to me was the 92. SLP did more to that car, than any after it. They were 400 or 500 hp back then. And pretty much worked over the whole car, not just a few things here and there. We have a red one, local NC car, around here, he does not drive it much, but sounds great and goes very nicely when he takes it out. When I am home he always drives by and gives a rev to say welcome back. He also has a LT1 STS Turbo TA as his DD, and an old SAAB 900 Turbo as his poor weather/winter car.

Spiers: I would choose the '92 Firehawk over any of those cars.

Thats always the way it is, when you have money nothing is forsale you want, till as soon as your broke, then every deal you run into is an awesome temptation.

Hey:
^ Thats what I thought, thats why I posted this in case somebody was looking for one and had the cash, who knows what the prices they will go for. Hopefully some folks on here pick up a few of these LT1 cars up, at a good price. But cars like that Manta and a few others probably won't be very cheap.
Good Luck to any of you bidders. I wish I could get that 92 Firehawk or even one the 93s, but it is not in the cards right now, so hopefully someone else can take advantage of this.

I would do probably anything for that 92 Hawk. Sad thing is if I did have it I would be to afraid to drive it being it’s so rare. How many of those were there, something like 50-60 cars?
Wasn't that SLP intake manifold specific to that Firehawk engine? I also hear that the tooling to build that intake manifold was lost in a warehouse fire making them impossible to replace. Not sure if that is true, only what I've heard.

moderate Z28: I had no idea a 6-speed was offered in 92. Is it the same as the 4th gen's?
