Felas my brother has a 1994 Camaro with just a K&N Filter and flowmaster muffler. I was suggestion longtubes after having them installed on my ride. A mechanic has him sold that porting his intake with a 58mm tb will yeild more gains than the longtubes. Any thoughts? I thinkt the 58mm is a little to loarge on a non h/c set up correct?

Tell the mechanic to stick to repairs and instals!
Instal Longtubes and a good cat-bac and leave the stock TB alone.....
If the flowmaster is the crossflow TOSS IT!
1.Headers and cut-out and or full exhaust
2.cai or Lid
3.1.6rr and Lt4 or better springs
4.3200+ stall
5.3.42-3.73
6.Tune,160* stat
7.Drag radials
8.Suspension componets
Then get into the good stuff!

The intake and bigger throttle body will give him a larger seat of the pants return.... about where his wallet sets.
Longtubes and a cat-back will return 10 fold over what the intake and throttle body will bring on a stock vehicle.
