Default quick overheating ?

im not sure if this is a symptom of a blown head gasket.. but if the coolant boils up and comes through the reseivor does that mean i have a blown head gasket? or is there something else? like a bad radiator or cap?

It could be lost of things like an air bubble in the system. Mine did it one time when the thermostat went out
