LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Have an LS1 car and a LT1 car, how hard is it to swap brakes from each other?

Default Have an LS1 car and a LT1 car, how hard is it to swap brakes from each other?

Ive done a search but didnt find anything involving both. I have a guy with a LS1 car looking for lt1 brakes for drag wheels and wants to swap with my stuff. Is this going to be a major project or is it just pulling the calipers and rotors and swapping?

I dont want to mess with changing stuff out like master cylinders, prop valves, lines, etc.

All you need is an afternoon, basic tools etc.....
Unless your car has aftermarket gears in there i would swap the entire rear end just cause its easier. The front is simple, remove tie-rod end, lower ball joint upper ball joint, brake line from frame.....

I am sure you know this but PLEASE USE JACK STANDS!!!!!!!!

fronts are easy. Just a few hours. Its really not any more involved then just swapping calipers. spindles are easy to remove. Merv mentioned what you need. thats all there is too it.
