If your gonna have a nice car, you have to have a garage. I could NOT live without one.
Ive been where you are and I hated it.

Wax protects the paint from rain. Good thing you got it done.

The same thing happened to me last night. I got a friends car all cleaned up and I took it out and by the time I got to the highway it was starting to sprinkle. I thought it was supposed to be nice all day! lol I was wrong.

Best thing for the wheels, take them off one at a time when you have a LOT of time to detail. Soak them with simple green and scrub the hell out of them. Made a huge difference in the set I picked up a couple months ago for the Z. With enough scrubbing, you will get all the brake dust and crap off. I'll see if I can find the pics I took and post them. One of those scrubber pads for teflon dishes may be of some help without hurting the finish on the wheel.

Guess I lost the pics when my memory card screwed up on my phone. I'll get some pics next time Im out where the cars being stored/built. I had to pick up another wheel due to one being cracked, it looks like the others did before the cleanup. I'll get pics of before and after of that wheel. I need to get it done and get the tires swapped to the new wheels and put on the car anyway.

Best thing ive used for wheels is Car Bright Wheel Acid. Not easy to get ahold of but its a true acid. Ive seen it do some pretty amazing things. Stuff eats away at concrete...so you know its good!

lol no it doesnt eat away tires. and its takes ALONG time to eat away concrete, which is actually probably a mixture of 4 years using that product and a hi pressure spray gun in the same area.

Car Brite #E011M

http://www.carbrite.com/Products/Ext...HEEL-ACID.aspx

Very hard to get your hands on unless you work at a dealer who uses Car Brite products, but holy crap does it do wonders. It will also probably shorten your life span everytime you inhale it

wish i had some pics of the beastliness of this product!

It will hurt your rims if you spray it and forget it, it etches the clear coat and everything. But used correctly youll never want to use anything else.
