Default Oil dip stick tube holder ?

My oil dip stick is still can move back and forth. I get under the car and look at it, seem nothing hold it, Im I missing some thing ? I look at shbox, could find a pix that show me what hold the dip stick tube down. Any help or pix would be nice.

About half way up there is a bracket welded to the tube. a small 10mm bolt holds it to the engine block. Dont ask what size it is cuz i dont know

I look at it and look like it broke off, where I can buy a replacement ? btw if I pull out the dip stick, will alot oil coming out ?

Mine is broken too, I put some RTV around where it joins to the block as a temporary fix. Hasn't leaked yet though

Best thing to do would be to find one in the junkyard or braze the bracket back on. I brazed mine. No issues since. Local plumbing/welding or radiator shop should be able to do it. May do it for free if you prep it and remove the paint. (shoot the guy a $5 tip )

I bought a brand new one from GM when I bent mine doing headers. It's not that expensive.

I got header on mine, I just wonder if the preview guy cut it cause of the header ? possible ?
