Default Yet another new best

Went up to Dallas raceway with Tony and Kyle to do a little testing for the LTX Shootout. I only made one nitrous pass as my car is pretty much ready to go and am still running the same combo as last year.

60' 1.424
330' 4.075
1/8 ET 6.303
1/8 MPH 111.83
1000 8.207
1/4 ET 9.826
1/4 MPH 132.02

I ran out of nitrous 900-1000' feet down track and the car nosed over pretty good.....looking forward to letting it all hang out in Bowling Green

Yeah that's a fairly deep first. Car sounds like it has a lot more left in it

another view....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sb-hLlQ9RCA

The car has been a best of 139.78 mph so look for a much lower ET at the Shootout.
I normally pick up ~30mph on the 2nd half

Something looked funky on the 1-2 shift at exactly the 34 sec mark. The car nosed down real hard and it sounded like the rpms went way up for a split second. It might have been the doppler effect but it sounded like a manual car doing a powershift to me. My friends Mustang does the same thing when it shifts. It might be slipping a little.

I can only imagine what your car would do with a th350 with a nice 2.75 first gear. You'd probably get another 30 feet out of it in first.

Good run though!

6800rpm shift point with 7000rpm limiter so it couldn't be big rpm flare...now the 2/3 shift it was on the limiter.

One thing you might be hearing is the nitrous bottle was really low, and it surged a few times on the bottem end of the track as well as finally giving up the ghost on the big end.

Grats.

I know the gear and stall is too small for NA, but out of curiosity what is it running on motor?

Good run, Christine is probably not going to make it to the shootout so consider yourself lucky It was revenge time since the last time we ran each other..
