FAST, DFI, etc... red alternator wire?

Default FAST, DFI, etc... red alternator wire?
Guys with standalones... are you still running the stock lt1 alternator? If so where does the red alternator wire go? I'm thinking it just goes to the cluster? I've been looking at wiring schematics all day and my eyes are worn out so forgive my laziness
