Who do you get your OEM parts from?

Who do you get your OEM parts from?
I'm gonna need everything next week but I've been reading that the worst place to buy from is gmpartsdirect.com.
My hawks been off the road and rotting for over 10 years so besides the heads and cam swap I'm replacing every gasket that exists on the LT1 plus I need to do a 95 vented optispark upgrade. Not to mention I broke my oil pressure sensor before I pulled the engine.
I'm not looking for the cheapest, I'm looking for the most reliable and will ship in one week. Thanx

If you are buying multiple parts, go here: http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#GM_parts
GMPD isn't that bad if you only need one part. Order two or three parts and the S&H gets outrageous.

Jason Cromer! Sounds very familiar.

My local dealer was willing to match gmpartsdirect prices for me. Could have been a fluke "good ol' boy parts department" giving me a hook-up; but I'd say it's worth a shot. Seemed to work especially well on large orders (+$700).

www.partszoneonline.com has served me very well. Normal shipping prices and always got things pretty quickly.

I've always used Jason Cromer. I've never even considered asking a local dealer to price match, but it might be worth a shot. The price difference has always been so dramatic I figured there was no way in heck they would do that. If they did, it would save you some money on S&H. Jason's shipping charges are, however, very reasonable. GMPartsDirect will make a **** star of you with their shipping & handling.

I can help anyone out with their GM OEM parts needs for very low pricing and we only charge our cost on shipping.
Thanks

At least you won't have to worry about paying GMPartsDirect's ridiculous shipping charges.

Ah. That makes more sense.
I hate that they're discontinuing so many parts, but I guess that's to be expected. Are these cars antiques yet? I wanted to get a new hood, but those have been discontinued. I also had to pay regular dealer retail for a new headliner last year because those had been discontinued and Jason could no longer get them. He found one for me at a dealership somewhere in New York, and it had to be shipped via regular freight. That kind of sucked, but at least I found one. I believe there were only 2-3 still available in the US, and one of the dealers that had inventory listed was completely unresponsive. I'm also thinking about getting a driver's side door because mine is cracked at the rear. I believe those are still available, but they aren't cheap. Fog lamp assemblies were also on backorder the last time I checked, and I hope they haven't been discontinued as I need one for the passenger side.
