oil leak over opti spark, how to clean it up ?

I saw some oil or grease on optispark, car run smooth and strong, should I just leave the way its, or try to spray something to clean it up ? about the oil leak, I have no ideal where it coming from .

If its wet oil, I would find the source of the leak (probably front of the intake manifold) and fix that, then clean the opti cap while disassembled from the rest of the optispark. If it looks like just dry road dirt/grease buildup, I wouldn't worry about it.

My opti's cap is covered in dry dirt/grime/grease but runs absolutely fine.

One could possibly make the argument that the caked-on road grime and grease could actually be beneficial, preventing liquid oil and water from entering the optispark.
