Shbox.com is your best bet, and the pics are all from a 95 camaro which would have the exact opti that is on your car. Not the case with the 92 Corvette..

Disconnect batt, drain coolant, remove elbow, I pull the fans for more space, undo 6 water pump bolts and pry it off, unplug opti harness and vent lines, unbolt opti, put new opt on but make sure the dowl in in the correct slot (there are 3 slots use the one that doesnt look weird) put pump back on with new gaskets, put fans back, replace elbow, fill and bleed coolant
Its not hard.

He's 23 years old and is just beginning to learn how to work on engines, so I prepared a step-by-step procedure for changing the Opti and emailed it to him: he's in VA attending a Army training program and I'm in TX.
He followed the procedure I sent him and, all by himself, he changed the Opti. Engine fired on the first turn of the key, has no leak and he regularly takes his engine to redline; being 23 makes one crazy like that I guess, LOL
Anyway, it's for a Vette, but the procedure is very similar to 'F' body cars. Differences like his coil and module are mounted on the passenger side head; A/C compressor on the driver's side and maybe a few others. However, if you think it'll help you want me to send you a copy, PM or email me. It's about 65 steps (or so).
I know it works, hell if a newbie can use it without a problem that speaks for itself.

I used 1BadZee's old writeup on my first swap back when. It's still up on another forum:

The only thing that is missing is the AIR pump needs to come out of the way if you still have it. It's easy. Just 3 bolts hold it to its bracket and the bracket in turn comes off the left side of the water pump with no trouble.

Yeah, there are a few details I missed - it was a quick write-up I made a few years ago because I saw WAY too many "opti replacement help" threads so instead of responding to all of the PM's I would get, I just wrote this up using google images and a couple of my own.
