I've been noticing this more and more lately and I just want to throw it out there and see what you guys (or gals) think. When I open my gas cap I get a LOT of vapors coming out. I know the lower you run your tank it will make that noise when you open it but this seems much more than normal. Is this something to be worried about? I would think there should be a valve or something to let excess vapors escape and stop this from happening. The idea of pressure building in my gas tank just doesnt sit very well when I decide to do some "spirited" driving. Thanks!

Gas cap hissing is normal with unvented caps. From what I've found, it also varies with temperature differential. It's nothing to worry about.

I use to have that same issue then I got an ls1 gas cap. Problem solved and I picked up 1/10th in the 1/4
