Latest round of mods complete
It took me 5 months (new baby, new house) but I finally finished the latest updates on the car.
ABS delete
Battery relocation
Alternator relocation
LS1 steering shaft
Nitrous rewire (moved relays and WOT switch under the dash)
Polished 58mm TB
More port work on intake
Painted intake
LPP headers
Moved MSD boxes to battery location

5 months, man that's nothing, my lt1 had me down for over a year with one thing after another. without kids it may have took me a month, with 2 and another on way and talks of a fourth already it took me 15 months to get my car 100%
Just wait till your child is in the shop with you every second you are and doing everything your doing makes simple 30 min jobs turn into half day events, but man I love it. my old man taught me on a 65 235 l6 3 on the tree, I can still change points with my eyes closed... if you know what they are.

Probably not. I wanted to go Wed. but still have some stuff to do to prepare for the trip/race.
Yes, as a matter of fact I do know points. I installed a new points system on a customer's 69 Olds 442 restoration project I finished for him. He wanted to have everything original. The LS1 style shaft does not use a rag joint, so the steering is tighter with no play in the wheel which the LT1 rag joint style is notorious for. Plus the LS one gives a little more header clearance.
