High Flow Fuels fuel pump, possibly dead already?
Ok I replaced my fuel pump back in April thinking it would solve the issue I had, when really it wasnt the problem, but it was a good thing because it probably would have went out soon anyways with 175000 miles. Anyways, I was driving the other day, when bam! Car just dies, no restart. It was nighttime, and thankfully my house was right DOWN the street (keyword-down), how i became that lucky is beyond me. So I parked it and waited to check it till the next day. Well the first and easiest test i did was fuel pressure, and waddya know, it read 0 So I went to the fuel filter, and went completely un-environmentalist, and disconnected the fuel line that goes INTO the fuel filter. So as the leftover 93 octane leaked onto the grassy earth i went and primed the pump and had my dad sit and watch the disconnected line, when i primed the pump, nothing, just the leftover fuel dripping out of there. Now the pump runs just as loud as the first day i installed it. So we took the fuel pump assembly out (good thing i did the trap door method) And we didnt notice anything wrong. Basically has anyone ever heard of these pumps failing immaturely? Will they run but not pump? Its a high flow fuels brand off ebay, bought it for $76

In addition to my previous statement, did you check the connection between the pump and the sending tube? sometimes the clamp appears to be loose due to the rubber line getting soft due to fuel.... you should consider purchasing these 2 parts, they do offer a kit or seperately.

I've had two Walbro 255s fail in the last 4 years. It is also definitely not true that a fuel pump is either good or bad. My original stock pump would stop and go before it went out, and when my 2nd Walbro went out, it would intermittently lose pressure but still run, and sometimes lose all pressure and the car would die.
