Default bleeding brakes

so my motor is on the engine stand and i installed the sjm ll kit and abs delete.. i also installed a new rearend.. does having the vacuum port on the booster open effect the actual bleeding of the brakes? i feel as if its not getting enough pressure in the lines but idk.. any recomendations.. or considerations while i do this? my lines were dry how long should it take to get stable pressure back to the rear wheels?

I'm not sure about what your sjm II kit is, but in my lenghty experience, not having the vacuum booster connected shouldn't be an issue. If you can't get a "hard" pedal, I would suspect a connection that isn't 100% tight, allowing a tiny amount of air back into the system.

(did you have the master cylinder off? If so, did you 'bench bleed' it before re-installation?)

Make sure the bleed valves on the calipers are on top and not on the bottom if you changed them.

Yeah this can leave air in system for sure. Some *** sent me 2 left LS1 calipers when doing my brake swap. (didnt notice till after powdercoating them and everything) I wound up having to turn caliper to other side of rotor to bleed properly.

I think a motive power bleeder is a great thing to have with brake bleeding. It makes it really simple.

Also when before bleeding brakes try this. While system is under pressure or while having somebody push brake pedal, crack open master cylinder/booster fittings going to abs. Do these one at a time till fluid seeps out. (you dont need to open them much) There is a specific order to which one is bled first, but cant remember right now. This will get air out of master.

EDIT: I just saw you did ABS delete.

well my rear end cam assembeled so the calipers are on there right.. the brake booster never came off the car but i put a new (used) master on it.. should i still need to bench bleed? also i noticed that when i had my gf pumping the brakes when i would go to check the resovoir in the master it never really went down to low.. it seems like fluid isnt being drawn in as it should.. the correct order to bleed brakes is pass rear, driver rear, pass front, and driver front correct?

I would bleed anyways. just because it takes 5 min. Then check and see if it improves pumping when bleeding.
