What a great time!!
We had issues with a slipping TH-350. I chose to keep running and finally kicked a rod out. The motor was pretty strong and I saw 127 mph on the first pass. I think that I learned enough to build a good hot rod for next year. I am going to start on a new car before the end of this year. Gump is officially retired.
Once again, this was a great event. No LTX fan should miss this next year.
Thanks to all who organized and attended this race for making it a weekend to remember.
Take Care,
Daren

Great talking with you last night! Those people that haven't attended this event truly should make the effort to show up, it is about the best time you'll have at a track event. Cant wait to see your newest creation.

Hey Darin,
You and your wife are probably some of the nicest people I have ever met! My car was the white one on the trailer that didn't get to run cuz of a blown head gasket. Your car was a beast for what it was. I have a couple bad videos off my camera of your car that I can send you if you'd like.
I can't wait till next year to see what you bring out.

Glad to see everybody had a great time. I just bought a house, last week, so my funds were wrapped up in that..Otherwise, I would've been there for sure. I made the first Shootout, and my Dad an I had a great time. Next year Im there for sure. As soon as I get fully moved in, I'll start working on my car, so I'll be done, for whenever the next one is .
