Default Is a bad radiator the cause of my problem??

I found oil in my radiator last week and i assumed it was my head gasket. But I checked the oil dipstick and it was clean with just oil and no coolant. But my coolant resevoir and radiator had a milky dark substance which I know for sure is oil. A mechanic told me that the radiator was bad and the cause of the oil being in my radiator is from my oil cooler? I’m not sure and I haven’t heard of this before so I want to confirm this.

You can have oil in the radiator with out having coolant in the engine oil. The above question is the more important one.

Do the LT1's have a built in oil cooler in the radiator?

well the oil cooler is on the driver's side under the exhaust manifold w/lines running into the radiator... radiators corrode from the inside out and often leave residue that you may be mistaking for oil...have you replaced your radiator? have you flushed your radiator?

Usually oil in the coolant means bad intake gasket.
