Default installing new opti question...

I seem to remember reading somewhere of needing to put dialectic grease on the opti harness plugs. Is this correct??

I always just put a good dab of it on the plug just in case, I slathered the whole thing with the grease. Ran fine up 'til the day I had to let her go...

It's certainly good insurance against water intrusion and the lovely corrosion that comes with it and inevitably destroys the harness.
