Default Ok to use brass fittings for oil pressure sender?

I don't have the angle fittings to properly locate my oil pressure sender on the top of the block behind the intake manifold. Might end up just installing it straight up if the wire reaches, but could I just buy brass 90° fittings from Home Depot to locate it in the stock orientation? I can't see why, but is there any reason that brass wouldn't work properly in this application?

yes brass will work fine. Just use some teflon on the threads and dont overtighten it.
