Default Is there an engine cradle I can build or buy?

Is there an engine cradle I can build or buy so I can install and roll the engine and tranny back in from the bottom? I took the engine out from the top only cause my T56 was out already for a rebuild.

I just got my BMR k member in so now would be a good time to start building something before the engine comes back from the shop. The plan is to roll everything back under. Wheels, tranny, harness, accessories all in one shot. Thanx

You can make your own with a few 2x4s and some casters for pretty cheap. I have used everything from one of those wheel dolleys (for moving cars around shops and such) to a movers dolley.

This is something my friend invented. It's built on two mover's dollies. The open part of the V is where the rear of the oil pan sits, the K member sits on the front of the V.
It's a damn good tool.

Saw the guys on either Horsepower TV or Musclecar TV make one on one of the episodes about a year or two ago. Maybe check their web sites on powerblock.com.

With. That sucker just rolled right out. I used the same dolly when I dropped my engine and trans, worked like a charm, except it was on dirt.
