Default car running again .. tune Q's?

ok got my ride back together and running im dying to drive it but wont until i get the bugs worked out ... so heres my question . i have a 355 wit cc503 and a set of le2 heads 58tb and ewp lpp headers and performabuilt trans with stall.. accel ing. stock injectors and the rest of bolt ons .. i dont have a lt4 knock sensor but im pretty sure it can be tuned out or something but it fires up when cold runs great idles and everything . but after it warms up it sputters when you fuel it and starts to die out and is hard to restart . i havent drove it but b4 i do how important is a tune should i get a tune first then drive it or have i got something wrong... any help would be great

I would get a tune first, and don't let it idle to much. Get it out on the road after the tune and load up those rings

well the only real idling i done was running the cam break in and some heat cycles and goin over everything ..

like ebeard said don't let it idle for so long all you are doing know is running rich and could foul your plugs...when it just idles the plugs are not getting hot enough to burn the carbon off or cool down..

There is no break in for the cam...

This. Roller cams require zero break-in.

Accel injectors are crap also.

You need a tune also. Don't run it anymore without one.

This might break out into a fight but I use PCM For Less. I never had a problem with any of the tunes I got from them. There are quite a few places you can use and I'm sure others will tell you all about their experiences. Good luck.
