Hi, im looking to buy the ac delete pulley, i hear some don't line up, some squeak and make noise, and some need a shorter belt. Just wondering if this has those problems or if this one fits like it should.

If I had to do it over again, I would get that one. I bought a Dorman that is sold at Advance and a few other places and had to use six washers (two per hole) to shim it out correctly. I haven't heard anything negative about the GM piece yet.

I bought the same one today only because it was in stock at Advance. I also used 6 washers to shim it. I used some pretty thick washers and I still may need one more per bolt. I am using my stock length belt though. Everyone says the GM piece is direct fit with no shimming at all. I'm not sure if it takes a shorter belt.

The different belt thing is a product of what a/c pulley was originally on the car. There were two diameters of a/c pulleys used over the years. I believe the delete pulley comes in one size. So, there is a chance you might have to change the belt slightly. It's not a huge deal.
