Can try a blow torch and heat up the pulley and not the hub.

I hear pulley pullers are good for pulling pulleys.

3-jaw puller is meant for the job. Make sure the claws go on the inside of the hub, not the outer ring.

Do NOT use a blow torch on the pulley. The heat will melt the rubber isolator ring.

Big 2 jaw puller...

The 3 jaw I had was a PITA due to the orientation of the fingers, would hit the opti and the angle of them didn't want to grip the back of the pulley.

I have an aftermarket balancer though which is smaller but thicker than the stocker.

At any rate, use a puller.
