How the heck do you get the impeller out of the stock water pump. I'm going to elect. and need to gut it.

not happin"n"!!! i used a 20 ton press! maybe wrong way? Any diagrams or pictures out there?

Using a punch and a hammer it shouldn't take much, but you need to make sure you're pressing from the FRONT to the BACK. Position the punch in the very center of the impeller and a few good whacks later it should pop out. Then, drive the seal out from the back to the front.

I've done 3 or 4 and have been sucessful with a punch and hammer. 1 was stubborn and I had to put it on a press.
